Generations by George Skaroulis
Generations is the original theme music written to accompany The Generations Music and Photography Exhibit of historical family photographs from the 1920's. The premier of this exhibit began it's journey in Patmos, Greece in July 2000, then premiered in the United States in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2001.
George Skaroulis' compositions capture the essence and beauty of the photographs, and the 8 page CD booklet features several of the highlights from the exhibit.
This melodic and nostalgic album features some of George's most-loved original piano melodies as well as the traditional American classic, Shenandoah

Reviews:
The man plays piano as though he's channeling a spirit. Each touch of his finger to an ivory key is reminiscent of a lone drop of water falling into a puddle: vulnerable and individual at first then joining with millions of other droplets to create something much stronger. His music clearly touches the people who experience his sound in that way. -- Creative Loafing Magazine
Intuition is a wonderful thing. When we met George at the Sacred Circle Natural Health and Well Being Expo in Atlanta, GA we just knew we were going to like him and his music. This self-taught pianist and composer has created a unique body of work which begs for a unique description. Though you'll often find his albums in the "New Age" bins at the record stores the title just does not fit. We agree with the artist's own classification of his music as "neo-classical" or "ambient piano." The melodious offerings on this disc will relax you without boring you. The work is a perfect accompaniment to an essential oil massage, a sweet daydream or a good book.
The ambient piano, soft synthesizers and gentle phrasing of Generations by George Skaroulis will relax you...
